Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eric Shirley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Coffman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Helena FC's Luther Acevedo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute Rolland Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Coffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Luther Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luther Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Rolland Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Coffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Helena FC got a freekick which was hit by Russell Patrick. Luther Acevedo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sidney Orozco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helena FC. FC FORTUNA's Sidney Orozco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC FORTUNA from getting a goal against them. Casper Lackey's late challenge caught a FC FORTUNA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casper Lackey helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luther Acevedo was the one to do the kick off. Luther Acevedo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes, FC FORTUNA's Clayton Carrey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominic Coffman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC FORTUNA reached it. After 62 played minutes Helena FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Lawson. Abraham McKay struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dominic Coffman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC FORTUNA. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luther Acevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luther Acevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Orozco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luther Acevedo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Sidney Orozco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helena FC. In the 75th minute Rolland Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Coffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute FC FORTUNA were awarded a corner. Abraham McKay went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abraham McKay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominic Coffman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Helena FC's Scott Wesley got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Dominic Coffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolland Lindsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Lackey, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Jonas Quintero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luther Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Orozco having to interfere.
