Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gregory Short started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Gregory Short kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving DeMarcus Peoples. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Woodrow Patrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Whitney Wong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, GKS Łapsze Niżne's goalkeeper DeMarcus Peoples had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David McKinnon. A collision led to GKS Łapsze Niżne getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Domingo Slaughter hit a great ball. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Metzger in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeMarcus Peoples got control of the ball when David McKinnon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Whitney Wong scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Woodrow Patrick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otto Bates in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Homer Metzger in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Woodrow Patrick saved Energy FC from getting behind. Gregory Short kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Energy FC's Woodrow Patrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by DeAngelo Denton in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Mathews during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GKS Łapsze Niżne booed when Energy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregory Short didn't get a good kick on the ball. DeAngelo Denton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Woodrow Patrick having to make a save. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from DeAngelo Denton in the 41st minute of play. Whitney Wong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Patrick having to interfere. When David McKinnon fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Energy FC's protests and gave David McKinnon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, David McKinnon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Energy FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GKS Łapsze Niżne were winning 1-2.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Energy FC's goalkeeper Woodrow Patrick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeAngelo Denton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some careless play in the Energy FC defense, DeAngelo Denton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Woodrow Patrick. The Energy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Woodrow Patrick should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Energy FC's zone, DeAngelo Denton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow Patrick came out of the goal and DeAngelo Denton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merlin Byrd hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Energy FC's Sanford Carroll broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Woodrow Patrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from DeAngelo Denton in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, DeAngelo Denton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Woodrow Patrick. DeAngelo Denton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Homer Metzger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Woodrow Patrick made a huge save. DeMarcus Peoples showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregory Short in the 88th minute of the match. Gregory Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. DeMarcus Peoples tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute DeAngelo Denton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Patrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded GKS Łapsze Niżne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Energy FC.
