With a little luck, Bethlehem's Tim Dow got control of the ball when Brock Pritchard tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Billy Cody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Dana Sosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Hearn was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Tim Dow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Cody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Bethlehem's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Cody came free, but Tim Dow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
