Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Callahan got the match started through his kick off. Cristopher Munson came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by John Hartford FC's Christian Kruse. But to his dismay, Christian Kruse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, John Hartford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Callahan came free, but Whitney Swift reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Los Angeles F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Ivey. Quinton Webber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Whitney Swift having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Christian Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, John Hartford FC's Felix Yates got a free kick in the 21st minute. Whitney Swift made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Quinton Webber sent off a good shot on target. After 23 minutes, Reyes Rivas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the John Hartford FC and the Los Angeles F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Reyes Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Gerry Ivey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Los Angeles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Leland Rubio came free, but Cristopher Munson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of John Hartford FC booed when Los Angeles F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Magee didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Los Angeles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kruse came free, but Cristopher Munson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leland Rubio made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Bryant Ring was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. John Hartford FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Angeles F.C the free kick. Leland Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cristopher Munson made a huge save. In the 58th minute, Christian Kruse left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The John Hartford FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Leland Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, John Hartford FC's Perry Larson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristopher Munson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Cristopher Munson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leland Rubio in the 77th minute of play forced Los Angeles F.C's goalkeeper Cristopher Munson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 80 minutes on the clock, Reyes Rivas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in John Hartford FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Rickey Decker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristopher Munson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryan Forbes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Kruse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristopher Munson was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Los Angeles F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. John Hartford FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
