When Filiberto Salazar fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barka's protests and gave Filiberto Salazar a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, Nueva Villa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Dillon came free, but Aidan Kirkpatrick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tom Hager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scot Davila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sterling McDonough went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Anton Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Scot Davila having to interfere. The supporters of Barka booed when Nueva Villa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barka's goalkeeper Scot Davila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nueva Villa FC.
