The referee gave TIKI TAKA FC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucien Gifford, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Joya's Ethan Healy. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devin Coley during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Devin Coley kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Devin Coley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jackson Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. Karl-Johan Grubb might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ethan Healy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Johan Grubb ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Jackson Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ethan Healy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jackson Moreno in the 28th minute of the match. TIKI TAKA FC's Jackson Moreno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isidro Peck in the 29 minute of the game. If Karl-Johan Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ethan Healy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Devin Coley came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La Joya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devin Coley couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Karl-Johan Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Healy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ethan Healy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Grubb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ethan Healy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The La Joya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TIKI TAKA FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Johan Grubb to make the kick off. When Art Yeager fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Joya's protests and gave Art Yeager a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Art Yeager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Joya's Devin Coley got a free kick in the 52nd minute. La Joya's Ethan Healy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save La Joya from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in La Joya's zone, Karl-Johan Grubb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Healy came out of the goal and Karl-Johan Grubb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TIKI TAKA FC made a substitution. Louis Shaw replaced Karl-Johan Grubb. The supporters of TIKI TAKA FC booed when La Joya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Vasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ethan Healy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Shaw in the 65th minute of play. Alekos Papadamopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Healy having to interfere. After a rather tough play, TIKI TAKA FC's Bob Gee got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gilbert Salinas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devin Coley in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Louis Shaw reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ethan Healy. The goal made the score 0-6. Louis Shaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ethan Healy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Joya's Ethan Healy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Shaw in the 90th minute of play. Jackson Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over TIKI TAKA FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Joya throughout the match.
