With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Corley in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Lyle saved San Diego Lightning from getting behind. After having played for 12 minutes, Ben Lunsford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Lunsford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pocasset Light's Jonathan Corley in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dennis Lyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Corley went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 29 minutes, Carlos Webber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocasset Light and the San Diego Lightning players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jonathan Corley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dennis Lyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Jonathan Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dennis Lyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Corley in the 52nd minute of the match. Dennis Lyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leland Ng in the 53rd minute of play. Jonathan Corley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Lyle having to interfere. Timothy Rooney hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Jonathan Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldo Means's late challenge caught a Pocasset Light's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldo Means helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Corley in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dennis Lyle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 84 minutes, Ben Lunsford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pocasset Light's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Lunsford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lloyd Irvin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jonathan Corley notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of San Diego Lightning's Dennis Lyle. Dennis Lyle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Corley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Lyle having to make a save. In the 95th minute of the match Leland Ng shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dennis Lyle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
