Jefferson Winter didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Jefferson Winter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willie Jenkins made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Arnoldo Dorsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Internacional Miami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Raúl Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willie Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stevie Roth helped the player get up and apologised. Stevie Roth kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Von Garland took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Winter. Jefferson Winter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Internacional Miami's goalkeeper Raúl Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Club Internacional Miami's goalkeeper Raúl Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monroe Dyer. When Jesus Norton fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Internacional Miami's protests and gave Jesus Norton a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Club Internacional Miami got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Norton.
