The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stowe Township's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Weber AFC the free kick. Napoleon Rivers kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Stowe Township's Mervin North played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakim Belloumi in the 12th minute of play. Mervin North showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Vang in the 14th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Xavier Miles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stowe Township and the South Weber AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Stowe Township got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Miles. Wilfred Vang got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mervin North handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mervin North made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakim Belloumi in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stowe Township's Napoleon Rivers got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to South Weber AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Frankie Gabriel hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, South Weber AFC's Hakim Belloumi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mervin North narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Hakim Belloumi made a precise shot to the right of Mervin North. Stowe Township's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfred Vang was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Stowe Township's goalkeeper Mervin North had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakim Belloumi. Mervin North made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Hakim Belloumi sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th match minute, South Weber AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott McCoy to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xavier Miles in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ollie Esposito saved South Weber AFC from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Stowe Township could leave the field as winners, despite South Weber AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
