In the 4th match minute, Stowe Township was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roosevelt Russo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Xavier Miles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stowe Township fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Damon Lehman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Johnson Lane's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Desmond Garcia made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stowe Township's Napoleon Rivers. Joshua Healy kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Johnson Lane's Damon Lehman got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zachary Santiago made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Johnson Lane's Taylor Rivas. Taylor Rivas scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mervin North, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Stowe Township's Randell Corbett got a free kick in the 74th minute. George Riggs hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Randell Corbett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Johnson Lane players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
