When Ali Kraft came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rosemont FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Kraft couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Rosemont FC booed when Vernon Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wade Powell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Vernon Hills got a freekick which was hit by Wade Powell. Ali Kraft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Garth Eason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Vernon Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Kraft came free, but Garth Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Ali Kraft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosemont FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vernon Hills's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
