The corner ended in Aurelio McNair almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sajoka FC's Isaiah Covington did a great save. 7 minutes into the match, Sajoka FC's Otis Cherry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thad Avery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sajoka FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Austin Dickens got free with Isaiah Covington in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Ed Chung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sajoka FC were furious when Otto Paige was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a left leg Thad Avery saved Anson AFC from getting behind. Thad Stein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thad Avery having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Anson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Perry Rowland. Tobias Garner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Otis Cherry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thad Avery having to interfere. When Marcellus Paris came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Anson AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcellus Paris couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otis Cherry in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thad Avery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Otis Cherry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Sajoka FC booed when Anson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcellus Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otis Cherry in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thad Avery, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Austin Dickens scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaiah Covington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Otis Cherry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Anson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Dickens to maneuver through the defense. Otis Cherry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Thad Avery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Ed Chung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thad Stein hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Anson AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Sajoka FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
