Soldotna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilford Nunez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilford Nunez in the 36th minute of play forced toPGun's goalkeeper Von LeBlanc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Von LeBlanc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nick Ervin made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Miles Boyle sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miles Boyle made a kick off. Soldotna's Wilford Nunez got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Miles Boyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldotna's Nick Ervin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Tim Downing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Von LeBlanc was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, toPGun's Von LeBlanc got control of the ball when Tim Downing tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Zackary Silver came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the toPGun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zackary Silver couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Soldotna's Tim Downing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Von LeBlanc. Von LeBlanc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 89th minute Edward Califf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Von LeBlanc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, toPGun's Von LeBlanc got control of the ball when Tim Downing tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Soldotna's Tim Downing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Von LeBlanc narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
