Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Darby AFC's Rupert Howard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Darby AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Robby Kay hit a great ball. When Randolph Larson fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayti FC's protests and gave Randolph Larson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Darby AFC booed when Hayti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randolph Larson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hayti FC's Eliseo Maher got control of the ball when Robby Kay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Traylor kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Max Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar McCracken, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Hayti FC's Lamar McCracken in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darby AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Lamar McCracken took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Landry. Max Landry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lamar McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Max Landry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Hayti FC's Preston Hardy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Landry was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darby AFC's Rupert Howard got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Aragon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Max Landry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayti FC. Max Landry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lamar McCracken in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, Hayti FC's Dave Aragon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Max Landry was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lamar McCracken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Robby Kay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Hayti FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamar McCracken was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Alonso Felix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darby AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hayti FC the free kick. Lamar McCrackens short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Max Landry to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Max Landry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Preston Hardy in the 60th minute. Randolph Larson shot from long distance in the 61st minute, but Max Landry was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, Darby AFC's Carlos Farmer got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Lamar McCracken let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 64th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. Cameron Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Eliseo Maher came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Darby AFC's Robby Kay. But to his dismay, Robby Kay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 72 minutes, Rupert Howard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darby AFC and the Hayti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lamar McCracken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Max Landry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Hayti FC's Lamar McCracken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Landry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Darby AFC's Max Landry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Darby AFC from getting a goal against them.
