The referee gave Black Rock SC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. Tishan Gooljar had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ken Bradshaw from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denesh Le Gendre during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Black Rock SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denesh Le Gendre to maneuver through the defense. Tishan Gooljar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Bradshaw in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute George Maxwell Kallipersad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Walcott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ken Bradshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Ken Bradshaw was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kernaham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rock SC the free kick. Bertie Camps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Black Rock SC's George Maxwell Kallipersad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Walcott was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

If George Maxwell Kallipersad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lionel Assoon struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Paolo Walcott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Rock SC. After having played for 59 minutes, Lionel Assoon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Rock SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel Assoon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Black Rock SC's George Maxwell Kallipersad got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lionel Assoon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Walcott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Gerry Elcock struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Paolo Walcott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Rock SC. In the 69th match minute, Black Rock SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simbhoonath Ames to maneuver through the defense. Bertie Camps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tishan Gooljar having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Black Rock SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertie Camps came free, but Tishan Gooljar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Bertie Camps got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertie Camps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Maxwell Kallipersad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Black Rock SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ken Bradshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tishan Gooljar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Bradshaw in the 90th minute of play. Tishan Gooljar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertie Camps's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Black Rock SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
