Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthony Rougier in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ansil Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Anthony Rougier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ansil Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Anthony Rougier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Rougier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ansil Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Tishan MacDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansil Gomes having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Bon Accord Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Jagdeosingh to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tishan MacDonald in the 33rd minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anthony Rougier to make the kick off. Tishan MacDonald who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ansil Gomes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 56 minutes, Anthony Rougier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mohammedville Falcons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthony Rougier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bon Accord Strikers's zone, Anthony Rougier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansil Gomes came out of the goal and Anthony Rougier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Mahabir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennox Mendes in the 65th minute of the match. Tishan MacDonald's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ansil Gomes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Anthony Rougier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72ndth minute of the game Anthony Rougier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bon Accord Strikers's Ansil Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tishan MacDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ansil Gomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tishan MacDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Anthony Rougier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ansil Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennox Mendes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Carlos Mahabir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bon Accord Strikers. In the 81st match minute, Mohammedville Falcons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Hochoy to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Mohammedville Falcons's goal looked a bit too open when Lennox Mendes came free, but Carlos Mahabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Bon Accord Strikers's Ansil Gomes got control of the ball when Tishan MacDonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Solomon Barath's late challenge caught a Bon Accord Strikers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Solomon Barath helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mohammedville Falcons fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tishan MacDonald in the 97th minute of play forced Bon Accord Strikers's goalkeeper Ansil Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute, Anthony Rougier made a precise shot to the right of Ansil Gomes. Bon Accord Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the match was over Mohammedville Falcons could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bon Accord Strikers throughout the match.
