Navet's Neil Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskynd Zamora in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Kamla Devika Sharma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Maraval Is Love getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gaskynd Zamora hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Maraval Is Love got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Duprey. In the 18th minute Kamla Devika Sharma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaskynd Zamora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Neil Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Navet's William Gonsalves got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaskynd Zamora in the 21st minute of play forced Navet's goalkeeper Neil Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Maraval Is Love got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Duprey. 27 minutes into the match, Maraval Is Love's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Springer came free, but Rodney Ayoung-Chee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kamla Devika Sharma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Gonsalves kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Navet's Jason Springer in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maraval Is Love's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamla Devika Sharma was the one to do the kick off. Jason Springer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Navet getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jason Springer hit a great ball. Neil Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamla Devika Sharma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodney Ayoung-Chee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennox Ramdial, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Gaskynd Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kamla Devika Sharma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaskynd Zamora might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neil Thomas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaskynd Zamora ran back to his position shaking his head. Neil Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskynd Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Springer in the 76th minute of play forced Maraval Is Love's goalkeeper Rodney Ayoung-Chee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Thomas made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gaskynd Zamora sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Navet's goal looked a bit too open when Kamla Devika Sharma came free, but Neil Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maraval Is Love's Rodney Ayoung-Chee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wintley Head Son in the 95th minute of play. The Maraval Is Love supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maraval Is Love would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
