The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry Body during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Digo DareDevils got a freekick which was hit by Harry Body. After a rather tough play, Digo DareDevils's Solomon Anwar got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Digo DareDevils's goal looked a bit too open when Solomon Achong came free, but Gerald Solomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Surujrattan Baboolal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Surujrattan Baboolal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Gerald Solomon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Digo DareDevils's Gerald Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Subhas Persaud in the 41st minute of play. Surujrattan Baboolal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Gerald Solomon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerald Solomon made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Surujrattan Baboolal sent off a good shot on target. After 48 minutes, Alfred Regrello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scarborough Town and the Digo DareDevils players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Scarborough Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Regrello to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Surujrattan Baboolal made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Surujrattan Baboolal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerald Solomon. Digo DareDevils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Surujrattan Baboolal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Surujrattan Baboolal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Achong in the 68th minute of play forced Digo DareDevils's goalkeeper Gerald Solomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Harold Rafeeq mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Digo DareDevils and the Scarborough Town players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Harold Rafeeq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Solomon Achong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerald Solomon. Digo DareDevils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Solomon Achong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The supporters of Scarborough Town booed when Digo DareDevils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornell Achong didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Surujrattan Baboolal in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerald Solomon saved Digo DareDevils from getting behind. Surujrattan Baboolal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gerald Solomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerald Solomon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Surujrattan Baboolal in the 89th minute of the match. When Subhas Persaud fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarborough Town's protests and gave Subhas Persaud a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Scarborough Town's Subhas Persaud got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Scarborough Town were the better team. Scarborough Town's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
