The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clyde Chambers. That made the score 2-0 after 6 minutes of play. Edmundo William Hyland charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo William Hyland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Chaguanas Strikers's Clyde Chambers got control of the ball when Brian Charles Thompson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Chaguanas Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Sinanan to maneuver through the defense. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Edmundo William Hyland got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palaimon Gomatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raffique Mannette in the 23rd minute of the match. Brian Charles Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Clyde Chambers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaguanas Strikers's Clyde Chambers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Chaguanas Strikers from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Chaguanas Strikers's André Sinanan got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Franklin Mitchell-Gift managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Liverpool Tobago's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Mitchell-Gift was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clyde Chambers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franklin Mitchell-Gift took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clyde Chambers. Clyde Chambers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Clyde Chambers came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Anton Phipps. But to his dismay, Anton Phipps quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Phipps stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Howard de Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaguanas Strikers's Raffique Mannette shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Palaimon Gomatos but with some difficulty. Howard de Freitas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Anton Phipps cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Clyde Chambers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 64 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Chambers was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anton Phipps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Anton Phipps made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Chambers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Franklin Mitchell-Gift managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Chaguanas Strikers's Clyde Chambers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Phipps in the 83rd minute of play. Anton Phipps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Hudson-Phillips's late challenge caught a Chaguanas Strikers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Hudson-Phillips helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Hudson-Phillips kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. André Sinanan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes of play, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Franklin Mitchell-Gift made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Chambers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Phipps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Chambers having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Standiford String Band got free with Palaimon Gomatos in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C. Liverpool Tobago had played much better football throughout.
