Chaguanas Strikers's supporters rose to their feet, but Krishna Bednob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clyde Chambers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasant de Boissièrre, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Standiford String Band sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Darryl Glen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Standiford String Band who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Khaleem Abdul-Hamid when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Standiford String Band in the 28th minute. Standiford String Band kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Daaga in the 35th minute of play forced Chaguanas Strikers's goalkeeper Clyde Chambers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Standiford String Band lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Khaleem Abdul-Hamid. Natasha Badree struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaguanas Strikers. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Standiford String Band to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Standiford String Band ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khaleem Abdul-Hamid was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Krishna Bednob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Standiford String Band had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Standiford String Band kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Standiford String Band fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khaleem Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. Natasha Badree fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khaleem Abdul-Hamid having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Punta Pigeon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Leslie struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Chaguanas Strikers's Dennis Leslie got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chaguanas Strikers had played much better football throughout.
