Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ourente Zuniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, EL TAURO's Ariando Lazaro got control of the ball when Ivan Altamirano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batista Cuba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariando Lazaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Altamirano in the 29th minute of play. With his leg Ariando Lazaro managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Hyaty's Ivan Altamirano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xusto Ramallal's late challenge caught a EL TAURO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xusto Ramallal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hyaty getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Xusto Ramallal hit a great ball. Batista Cuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ariando Lazaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ourente Zuniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tomas Puredo made the kick off in the second half. If Ivan Altamirano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batista Cuba in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariando Lazaro saved EL TAURO from getting behind. Ivan Altamirano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hyaty booed when EL TAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Aramberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Norino Villaquilambre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norino Villaquilambre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EL TAURO's Ariando Lazaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Cuba in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Altamirano in the 70th minute of play forced EL TAURO's goalkeeper Ariando Lazaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariando Lazaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Cuba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, EL TAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Cuba came free, but Ariando Lazaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Puredo came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the EL TAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Puredo couldn't finish the play.
