Alianza's Erauso Zalaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Alianza from getting a goal against them. Bernard Rugama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahia Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Roque Comparada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cordarrel Lazaeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Zalaya having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Alianza's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrel Lazaeta came free, but Erauso Zalaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breogan Sendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Erauso Zalaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Breogan Sendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ybytymi getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sandaili Borges hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Alianza got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Griego. In the 36th minute, Emilio Guibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Cordarrel Lazaeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alianza's Erauso Zalaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Alianza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barros Cecilia to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cordarrel Lazaeta was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cordarrel Lazaeta notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Alianza's Erauso Zalaya. Erauso Zalaya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the match, Alianza's Nahia Barroso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernard Rugama narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Ybytymi's Bernard Rugama got control of the ball when Roque Comparada tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nahia Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ybytymi's goalkeeper Bernard Rugama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Breogan Sendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erauso Zalaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erauso Zalaya came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ybytymi's Cordarrel Lazaeta. But to his dismay, Cordarrel Lazaeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bernard Rugama was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nahia Barroso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 85 minute of play. Bernard Rugama didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. When Breogan Sendin came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ybytymi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breogan Sendin couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alianza had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
