When Angelino Llorden came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Fassardi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Llorden couldn't finish the play. Angelino Llorden took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calvino Molleda. Calvino Molleda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Xinaro Viguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Xinaro Viguri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA GALAXY's Calvino Molleda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Admon Pares charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Admon Pares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Admon Pares kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Calvino Molleda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Gostioz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Burni Diana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oliviero Sevane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of LA GALAXY booed when Fassardi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lehoi Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burni Diana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliviero Sevane having to make a save. Xinaro Viguri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calvino Molleda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Llorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Calvino Molleda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Llorden in the 38th minute of play. Oliviero Sevane made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jordi Sicilia sent off a good shot on target. Burni Diana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Angelino Llorden made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Roque Gostioz rounded LA GALAXY's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Jordi Sicilia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Oliviero Sevane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliviero Sevane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burni Diana went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the game, Bras Diana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Calvino Molleda. Bras Diana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. If Burni Diana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Calvino Molleda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Llorden in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, LA GALAXY's goalkeeper Calvino Molleda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xinaro Viguri. The Fassardi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fassardi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
