In the 4th match minute, Jhugua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Trasgallo to maneuver through the defense. Calvino Molleda made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Berart Dorrego sent off a good shot on target. When Jhugua FC's Duarte Trasgallo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in LA GALAXY's zone, Berart Dorrego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calvino Molleda came out of the goal and Berart Dorrego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Jordi Sicilia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celipe Arozamena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gaitan Carces came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the LA GALAXY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaitan Carces couldn't finish the play. Artizar Hevia kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duarte Trasgallo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Trasgallo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calvino Molleda saved LA GALAXY from getting behind. If Berart Dorrego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celipe Arozamena was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Senon Irala. Admon Pares charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Admon Pares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Admon Pares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Senon Irala during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in LA GALAXY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jhugua FC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ilazki Lidon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LA GALAXY's Calvino Molleda. 2-0. Berart Dorrego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvino Molleda having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA GALAXY's goalkeeper Calvino Molleda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Berart Dorrego had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calvino Molleda. LA GALAXY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berart Dorrego was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Calvino Molleda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Trasgallo in the 87th minute of play. Berart Dorrego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calvino Molleda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Dorio Vaquerizo's late challenge caught a LA GALAXY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorio Vaquerizo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jhugua FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Dorio Vaquerizo hit a great ball. Jhugua FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
