Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amancio Valdivia took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Monción FC's zone, Jeremias Bermúdez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Macías came out of the goal and Jeremias Bermúdez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Camilo Becerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monción FC and the Pizarrete CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monción FC's Camilo Becerra got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jeremias Bermúdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Macías having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Patricio Cabañas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monción FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Cabañas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilio Cuevas during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pizarrete CD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Atilio Cuevas hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Pizarrete CD's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Becerra came free, but Raul Padilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sergio Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Raul Padilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Valdivia in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Amancio Valdivia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Macías. Monción FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Valdivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arquímedes Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Raul Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Macías didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Bermúdez went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Bermúdez in the 71st minute of play forced Monción FC's goalkeeper David Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Benigno Vera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Jeremias Bermúdez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pizarrete CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Bermúdez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Monción FC's David Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Valdivia in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Jeremias Bermúdez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes of play, Pizarrete CD's Jeremias Bermúdez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Macías was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeremias Bermúdez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. David Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pizarrete CD fully deserved thier win.
