Spectators: 8105 (Terracing: 6080, Seating: 1864, VIP seats: 161) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ramiro Almeyda made the kick off which started today's match. Eugenio Matheus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Ramirez in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Domínico Argentino SC! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Atlantico FC. Armando Canal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eugenio Matheus. 0-1. With a little luck, Atlantico FC's Blas Almeyda got control of the ball when Ruben Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Armando Canal made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Matheus. Domínico Argentino SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Armando Canal came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Atlantico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Canal couldn't finish the play. After 22 minutes of play, Atlantico FC's Gustavo Ojeda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Matheus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugenio Matheus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Canal in the 26th minute of play. Armando Canal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Fabio Zabaleta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Matheus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 43rd play minutes Armando Canal shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Eugenio Matheus and just under the crossbar into goal. The Domínico Argentino SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlantico FC were winning 0-5.

Armando Canal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Matheus having to make a save. In the 56th minute, Atlantico FC's Armando Canal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugenio Matheus. Eugenio Matheus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Fidel Ramirez let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 62nd minute shot 0-8 at rihgt post. Atlantico FC's Camilo Orozco was substituted for Josimar Arredondo. Fabio Zabaleta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Atlantico FC's Armando Canal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Matheus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Armando Canal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Domínico Argentino SC's Eugenio Matheus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Armando Canal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Matheus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Flavio Bonilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Domínico Argentino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Canal came free, but Eugenio Matheus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Zabaleta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Matheus having to interfere. Blas Almeyda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Pinto in the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Canal in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Matheus saved Domínico Argentino SC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Canal in the 88th minute of play forced Domínico Argentino SC's goalkeeper Eugenio Matheus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Domínico Argentino SC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Canal came free, but Eugenio Matheus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Fabio Zabaleta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Zabaleta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Matheus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eugenio Matheus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Canal in the 95th minute of the match. Eugenio Matheus was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar Gamboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 96 minute of play. Atlantico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
