Spectators: 6881 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonardo Montañas kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goalkeeper Roque Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lesli Muñoz. Jack Cerilo's late challenge caught a Guzmán AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Cerilo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Jack Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gonzalo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Pinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelvin Muñiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gonzalo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kelvin Muñiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Marín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelvin Muñiz having to interfere. Gonzalo Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kelvin Muñiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Guzmán AD's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Montañas came free, but Kelvin Muñiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goalkeeper Roque Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Thompson. After 35 minutes, Josué Ojeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guzmán AD and the El Pinar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Guzmán AD got a freekick which was hit by Josué Ojeda. Gonzalo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leonardo Montañas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Cruz in the 42nd minute of play forced Guzmán AD's goalkeeper Kelvin Muñiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 43rd minute of the match Josué Ojeda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Josué Ojeda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of El Pinar booed when Guzmán AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Ojeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adolfo Thompson made the kick off in the second half. Alexi Matheus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Cardozo having to make a save. In the 55th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balduino Ulibarri to maneuver through the defense. Roque Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Thompson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kelvin Muñiz made a huge save. Balduino Ulibarri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Guzmán AD's Kelvin Muñiz got control of the ball when Albert Marín tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Alexi Matheus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kelvin Muñiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Balduino Ulibarri hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Kelvin Muñiz came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by El Pinar's Gonzalo Cruz. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Clement Ibáñez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Adolfo Thompson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roque Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roque Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexi Matheus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Montañas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Montañas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Montañas to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Cardozo having to interfere. Guzmán AD succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though El Pinar had controlled the match.
