Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Mao getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Donato Orellano hit a great ball. Asdrubal Zayas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asdrubal Zayas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yordany Balboa having to interfere. Gustavo Balbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Yordany Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yordany Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Balbo's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 30 played minutes HORTA UA got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Barreiro. When Milton Zavala came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the HORTA UA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Zavala couldn't finish the play. Sammy Arévalo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Asdrubal Zayas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Yordany Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Isandro Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mao and the HORTA UA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of HORTA UA booed when Mao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isandro Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Arteaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Arsenio Bianco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Balbo made a kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Gustavo Balbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HORTA UA's Yordany Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Arteaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Asdrubal Zayas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mao's supporters rose to their feet, but Asdrubal Zayas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yordany Balboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Bianco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Arteaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes, Juan Luis Beltrán mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mao and the HORTA UA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mao's Juan Luis Beltrán got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, HORTA UA's goal looked a bit too open when Asdrubal Zayas came free, but Yordany Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Luis Beltrán kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Gustavo Arteaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Bianco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Mao got a freekick which was hit by Donato Orellano. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gustavo Arteaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. HORTA UA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Arteaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Bianco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Zayas in the 83rd minute of play forced HORTA UA's goalkeeper Yordany Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Asdrubal Zayas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Balbo scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yordany Balboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. HORTA UA's Yordany Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Balbo in the 90th minute of play. Asdrubal Zayas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yordany Balboa having to interfere. Yordany Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asdrubal Zayas in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Mao players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
