Ismaël Fari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lounès Benchenaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdelkader Lacarne's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Conroe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DesertStorm:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelkader Lacarne during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, DesertStorm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelkader Lacarne to maneuver through the defense. Rachid Boulmerka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni having to interfere. Conroe's Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Conroe from getting a goal against them. Rachid Boulmerka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes in the game, Rachid Boulmerka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni having to interfere. Abdelkader Lacarne struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DesertStorm. Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Abdelkader Lacarne sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute Abdelkader Lacarne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, DesertStorm's Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abdelkader Lacarne, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lounès Benchenaa was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Conroe's zone, Abdelkader Lacarne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni came out of the goal and Abdelkader Lacarne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Rachid Boulmerka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, one of Conroe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Halim Hanin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Conroe's Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachid Boulmerka in the 64th minute of play. When DesertStorm's Abdelkader Lacarne in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Abdelkader Lacarne put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mohammed Ahmed Reda Madouni. Rachid Boulmerka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
