After a rather tough play, Run Away MZT's Mounir Hima got a free kick in the 14th minute. Daho Ziani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rachid Bourebbou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Daho Ziani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Bourebbou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rachid Bourebbou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daho Ziani, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Nabil Kourichi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalida Abdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Nabil Kourichi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Run Away MZT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Southold the free kick. Nabil Kourichi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Khalida Abdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalida Abdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abd al-Asis Djebbour, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Southold's goal looked a bit too open when Nabil Kourichi came free, but Khalida Abdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daho Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Bourebbou having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abd al-Asis Djebbour to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Southold's zone, Nabil Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khalida Abdi came out of the goal and Nabil Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Nabil Kourichi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Run Away MZT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nabil Kourichi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Abd al-Asis Djebbour elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nabil Kourichi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 67 minutes on the clock, Abdelaziz Kensi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Run Away MZT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Southold a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Madhi Hadjadj, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Run Away MZT's Rachid Bourebbou. 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Run Away MZT's zone, Madjid Mehenni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rachid Bourebbou came out of the goal and Madjid Mehenni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hakim Haddou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madjid Mehenni in the 80th minute of play forced Run Away MZT's goalkeeper Rachid Bourebbou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Run Away MZT got a freekick which was hit by Moulay Boudiaf. Southold's Daho Ziani got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daho Ziani in the 94th minute of play forced Run Away MZT's goalkeeper Rachid Bourebbou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daho Ziani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Bourebbou having to interfere.
