After a defensive mix-up in Fort Gordon FC's zone, Mohamed Kouidri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdelkader Macias came out of the goal and Mohamed Kouidri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohamed Kouidri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Abdelkader Macias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Holtville's Faouzi Yacine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amrani Reda Madouni in the 23rd minute of play. Faouzi Yacine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amrani Reda Madouni in the 43rd minute of play. If Jean-Michel Moussaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed Kouidri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noureddine Sahraoui during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
