In the 19th match minute, Glen Rose AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nabil Mezair to maneuver through the defense. Albert Haddadj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Rachid Achiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glen Rose AFC's Rachid Nabil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Glen Rose AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ahmed Kader hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Rachid Achiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rachid Nabil was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Westville AFC's goalkeeper Houari Hamdani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Meniri. When Nabil Mezair fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glen Rose AFC's protests and gave Nabil Mezair a yellow card for diving instead. Many of Westville AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Westville AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Glen Rose AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
