Ali Bouazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nadir Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes of play, Strathmore FC's Rachid Drid made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthar Kerkar was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nadir Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Ismaël Ramdani lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Ali Bouazza. In the 31st minute Anthar Zeghdoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthar Kerkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strathmore FC's Ali Bouazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nadir Hamrouche in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mohamed Bentifour managed to get in a good position for a shot. G-united's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Bentifour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Bouazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Krim Meskine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Bentifour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthar Kerkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rachid Drid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Faouzi Belloumi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nadir Hamrouche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Bouazza having to interfere. Mohamed Bentifour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ali Bouazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ismaël Ramdani managed to get in a good position for a shot. G-united's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismaël Ramdani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Bouazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Mohamed Bentifour suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Strathmore FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of G-united:s goal. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for G-united. Ismaël Ramdani stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ali Bouazza. 4-2. Ali Bouazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nadir Hamrouche in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Strathmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismaël Ramdani came free, but Ali Bouazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahar Khelaifia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Strathmore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amar Kafi came free, but Ali Bouazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Bouazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismaël Ramdani in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Alain Hanister mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strathmore FC and the G-united players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Nadir Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Strathmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Alain Hanister.
