Seating: 1420, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julio Cruz kicked off to start the match. Antonio Laferla kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Mahmoud Medjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Antonio Laferla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ali Belloumi. Antonio Laferla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Julio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Mager stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mahmoud Medjani's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The supporters of Metzger AFC booed when Mountain Iron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheikha Boulmerka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Belloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Safy Aarache in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Safy Aarache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mountain Iron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad in the 24th minute of play forced Metzger AFC's goalkeeper Ali Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Belloumi came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain Iron's Julio Cruz. But to his dismay, Julio Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmoud Medjani in the 32nd minute of play forced Mountain Iron's goalkeeper Christian Mager to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Metzger AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camel Zaaf to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mahmoud Medjani in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Mager prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mahmoud Medjani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Belloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Laferla in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute Antonio Laferla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Belloumi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camel Zaaf made a kick off. Camel Zaaf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mager having to interfere. Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Belloumi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute of the game Hakim Cherfa made a throw-in which Mahmoud Medjani played forward. In the 63rd match minute, Metzger AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jussef Bellemou Messaoud to maneuver through the defense. Ali Belloumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Cruz in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Laferla in the 66th minute of play forced Metzger AFC's goalkeeper Ali Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, Mountain Iron's Mohammed Ahmed Mezdad made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Belloumi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mountain Iron's Abd el Azzizi-Kettab was substituted for Smail Merah. An unexpectedly hard shot by Safy Aarache in the 85th minute of play forced Metzger AFC's goalkeeper Ali Belloumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wágner Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mountain Iron booed when Metzger AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmoud Medjani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mountain Iron's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
