Toufik Faudel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benamar Assad in the 8th minute of the match. New Britain's Salim Khaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Khaldi in the 12th minute of play forced Trinidad's goalkeeper Medjadi Cerbah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Toufik Faudel managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Trinidad's Abdelhamid Hamid fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tedj Nima in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Medjadi Cerbah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Khaldi in the 22nd minute of play forced Trinidad's goalkeeper Medjadi Cerbah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salim Khaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Medjadi Cerbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Salim Khaldi made a precise shot to the right of Medjadi Cerbah. Trinidad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Toufik Faudel was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Benamar Assad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benamar Assad really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Ahmed Reda Beloufa got a free kick in the 40th minute. Medjadi Cerbah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Khaldi in the 42nd minute of the match. Yazid Kouidri hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trinidad's zone, Salim Khaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Medjadi Cerbah came out of the goal and Salim Khaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Salim Khaldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the New Britain defense, Ahmed Reda Beloufa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toufik Faudel. The New Britain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toufik Faudel should have stopped the shot. Salim Khaldi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Medjadi Cerbah having to make a save. Salim Khaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Medjadi Cerbah having to interfere. New Britain's Salim Khaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toufik Faudel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Kouidri in the 69th minute of the match. Salim Khaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmed Reda Beloufa was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Ahmed Reda Beloufa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Salim Khaldi struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Medjadi Cerbah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Britain. Medjadi Cerbah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salim Khaldi in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of New Britain booed when Trinidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhamid Hamid didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tedj Nima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Medjadi Cerbah was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Trinidad's goalkeeper Medjadi Cerbah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salim Khaldi. After having played for 93 minutes, Salim Khaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Britain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salim Khaldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the New Britain players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trinidad.
