Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mourad Ouadah started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Trinidad's goal looked a bit too open when Nasreddine Boulebda came free, but Medjadi Cerbah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mourad Ouadah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Medjadi Cerbah was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Mourad Ouadah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 30 played minutes Trinidad got a freekick which was hit by Brahim Zahouania. Khalida Medjoudj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Medjadi Cerbah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalida Medjoudj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benamar Assad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Yazid Kouidri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinidad's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Kouidri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Matmour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Matmour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Kouidri in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Trinidad's goal looked a bit too open when Nasreddine Boulebda came free, but Medjadi Cerbah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Ahmed Reda Beloufa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trinidad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Sociedad the free kick. Karim Mehenni kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Real Sociedad's Nasreddine Boulebda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trinidad. Medjadi Cerbah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khalida Medjoudj in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute Mourad Ouadah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Medjadi Cerbah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nasreddine Boulebda in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Medjadi Cerbah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Trinidad got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Reda Beloufa. 87 minutes into the match, Mourad Ouadah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Medjadi Cerbah, 1-2. In the 91st minute, Mohamed Ben Kafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Benamar Assad came free, but Ali Matmour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Real Sociedad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trinidad throughout the match.
