Cereal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Fox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigue Horn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, Needles AFC's goalkeeper Rodrigue Horn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Fox. In the 20th minute, one of Needles AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Needles AFC. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Cereal AFC. Noah Carmichael stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodrigue Horn. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Needles AFC's Reid Lizotte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Merlin Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Needles AFC's Rodrigue Horn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Needles AFC from getting a goal against them. Rodrigue Horn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Velasquez in the 33rd minute of play. Erasmo Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reid Lizotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Martinez having to interfere. The supporters of Cereal AFC booed when Needles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harrison Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Velasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rodrigue Horn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jude Alexander's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jude Alexander in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Cereal AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Noah Carmichael hit a great ball. Marquis Rodrigue took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Merlin Martinez. Cereal AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jude Alexander might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merlin Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jude Alexander ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodrigue Horn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Velasquez in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Gordon Velasquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rodrigue Horn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merlin Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Alexander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jude Alexander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Martinez having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Gordon Velasquez made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigue Horn. Needles AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cereal AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Needles AFC for a fine match.
