Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stacey Hemphill started the match with the kick off. Daryl Corbett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nick Swan's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Ashcroft FC booed when Hartland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herschel McNeill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duncan Ellis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nick Swan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Daryl Corbett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abe Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacey Hemphill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hartland getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vincent Leal hit a great ball. Lynn Bravo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abe Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Vincent Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Lynn Bravo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Abe Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 34 minutes, Nick Swan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hartland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Swan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Nick Swan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maxwell Stern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daryl Corbett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Stern in the 52nd minute of play. Hartland's Maxwell Stern got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Stacey Hemphill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashcroft FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stacey Hemphill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abe Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Maxwell Stern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Corbett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lynn Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lynn Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abe Ramos having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Hartland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Leal to maneuver through the defense. Nick Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Daryl Corbett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxwell Stern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Corbett having to interfere. Daryl Corbett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Swan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Stacey Hemphill struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Abe Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashcroft FC. When Nick Swan came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Hartland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Swan couldn't finish the play. Stacey Hemphill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abe Ramos having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Arden Velasquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abe Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ashcroft FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
