Stan Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hinkle in the 3rd minute of play. If Emmett Lyons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romain McNeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Bateman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Eloy Bateman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romain McNeal. The goal made the score 1-0. Trent Hinkle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Clayton having to interfere. Emmett Lyons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Commanda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Bateman came free, but Romain McNeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Commanda AFC defense, Eloy Bateman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romain McNeal. The Commanda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romain McNeal should have stopped the shot. Jean Sylvester hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Elbert Allain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alma AFC's zone, Emmett Lyons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Clayton came out of the goal and Emmett Lyons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stan Clayton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hinkle in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Emmett Lyons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Commanda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trent Hinkle was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Alma AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Bateman to maneuver through the defense. Stan Clayton made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Emmett Lyons sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Stan Clayton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Emmett Lyons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romain McNeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Hinson in the 69th minute of the match. Elbert Allain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romain McNeal having to interfere. Alma AFC's Stan Clayton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Hinkle in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Elbert Allain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain McNeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Bateman struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romain McNeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alma AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Elbert Allain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alma AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elbert Allain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romain McNeal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
