Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ambroise Gilbert started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Neguac's goalkeeper Gail Stearns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ambroise Gilbert took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Bolduc. Ernesto Bolduc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 6th minute, one of Ladner FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ladner FC. Gail Stearns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dion Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gail Stearns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladner FC. A collision led to Ladner FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Marius Soucy hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Dion Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neguac's Gail Stearns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gail Stearns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dion Escobar in the 14th minute of play. Ambroise Gilbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Bolduc having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambroise Gilbert in the 23rd minute of play forced Ladner FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Bolduc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambroise Gilbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jules Bunch came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Neguac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jules Bunch couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambroise Gilbert in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Bolduc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th match minute, Ladner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dong Downing to maneuver through the defense. Jules Bunchs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Ernesto Bolduc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marius Soucy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Neguac got a corner. Ladner FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bennett Hairston ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Neguac's Bennett Hairston to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Bolduc despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dion Escobar made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Dion Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neguac's Gail Stearns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neguac's Jules Bunch got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ambroise Gilbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute of the match Billy Burks sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Bolduc skillfully saved the ball. Ernesto Bolduc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Bunch in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Ladner FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marius Soucy hit a great ball. Bennett Hairston was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Neguac booed when Ladner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kip Frederick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gail Stearns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dion Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ladner FC's Marius Soucy got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ambroise Gilbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Bolduc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Ambroise Gilbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Bolduc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ambroise Gilbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neguac's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambroise Gilbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Bolduc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Ambroise Gilbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Bolduc. Ladner FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ambroise Gilbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
