Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dion Escobar got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Ladner FC's Jonas Sheehan got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mike Carpenter came free in the 8th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ernesto Bolduc, but to the joy of Ladner FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Pham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ladner FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Quincy Handy hit a great ball. Josue Pham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Bolduc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Gervais Ferland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Pham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ladner FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Julien Arellano hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ladner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Carpenter came free, but Ernesto Bolduc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josue Pham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josue Pham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ladner FC's zone, Gervais Ferland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Bolduc came out of the goal and Gervais Ferland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Lanigan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Harland McConnell. With his leg Ernesto Bolduc managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Lanigan AFC's Josue Pham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 35 minutes, Gervais Ferland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanigan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervais Ferland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Sheehan during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lanigan AFC booed when Ladner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Sheehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervais Ferland succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 39th playminute. If Gervais Ferland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernesto Bolduc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Pham, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Josue Pham made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ladner FC got a freekick which was hit by Dong Downing. After 52 minutes of play, Lanigan AFC's Gervais Ferland made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Bolduc was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ladner FC's zone, Josue Pham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Bolduc came out of the goal and Josue Pham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, Ladner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Soucy to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ladner FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonas Sheehan hit a great ball. Josue Pham scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Bolduc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Bolduc came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanigan AFC's Josue Pham. But to his dismay, Josue Pham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gervais Ferland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Lanigan AFC's Gervais Ferland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Bolduc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Ladner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervais Ferland came free, but Ernesto Bolduc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervais Ferland in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Bolduc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marius Soucy's late challenge caught a Lanigan AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Soucy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Marius Soucy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervais Ferland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Josue Pham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Bolduc was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervais Ferland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes, Josue Pham made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Josue Pham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Bolduc having to interfere. There was no doubt that Lanigan AFC were the better team. Lanigan AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
