In the 7th minute, Marius Soucy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emmett Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Foxtrap booed when Ladner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quincy Handy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Dwain Landrum shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Bolduc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Emmett Snider made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmett Snider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiacre Burt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Bolduc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiacre Burt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Fiacre Burt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Bolduc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dion Escobar was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Emmett Snider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foxtrap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmett Snider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antone Bourget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglass Maxwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Antone Bourget didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladner FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Foxtrap's Emmett Snider slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernesto Bolduc. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. Lacy Therriault hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ladner FC's Sylvestre Crook tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fiacre Burt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Bolduc having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dion Escobar in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antone Bourget prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladner FC's Marius Soucy pulled a muscle in his back after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lawerence Perkins kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Foxtrap's zone, Douglass Maxwell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antone Bourget came out of the goal and Douglass Maxwell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ladner FC's Dion Escobar got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ernesto Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmett Snider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quincy Handy during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Fiacre Burt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Ladner FC from getting a goal against them.
