Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Ladner FC's Dion Escobar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heath Middleton in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Padlei defense, Douglass Maxwell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilaire Queen. The Padlei fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilaire Queen should have stopped the shot. Douglass Maxwell might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilaire Queen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglass Maxwell ran back to his position shaking his head. Douglass Maxwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hilaire Queen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Myron Roe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ladner FC's Ernesto Bolduc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Myron Roes short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Ernesto Bolduc to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Padlei's Heath Middleton in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ladner FC's goalie prevented a goal. Myron Roe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Bolduc having to interfere. Ladner FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Heath Middleton 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Ernesto Bolduc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heath Middleton's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The supporters of Ladner FC booed when Padlei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto Bullard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Dion Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ladner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dion Escobar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Heath Middleton came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Padlei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heath Middleton couldn't finish the play. When Royce Pierson fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Padlei's protests and gave Royce Pierson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Padlei getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Royce Pierson hit a great ball. Myron Roe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Bolduc firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heath Middleton to make the kick off. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Hilaire Queen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladner FC. After 54 minutes of play, Padlei's Heath Middleton made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Bolduc was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 minutes, Quincy Handy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ladner FC and the Padlei players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Quincy Handy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes, Padlei's Edgard Christensen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Bolduc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Padlei reached it. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ladner FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Bolduc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Douglass Maxwell struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Hilaire Queen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladner FC. In the 76th minute, Dion Escobar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Dion Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heath Middleton struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ernesto Bolduc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padlei. Myron Roe struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Douglass Maxwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Hilaire Queen made a huge save. After 94 played minutes Ladner FC got a freekick which was hit by Marius Soucy. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ladner FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Padlei.
