Aberdeen F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aishihik the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Aberdeen F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivory McKenna to maneuver through the defense. Craig Latham came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Aishihik's Roscoe Barbour. But to his dismay, Roscoe Barbour quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Antoine McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivory McKenna in the 17th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Aberdeen F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Roscoe Barbour came free, but Craig Latham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Barbour in the 26th minute of play forced Aberdeen F.C.'s goalkeeper Craig Latham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Barbour, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Marco Sykes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Gibbs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine McNeal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Roscoe Barbour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aishihik's supporters rose to their feet, but Roscoe Barbour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Latham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marco Sykes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Aberdeen F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Sykes couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Clifford Colon charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 58th minute, Ivory McKenna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoine McNeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Ivory McKenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivory McKenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aberdeen F.C. had played much better football throughout.
