Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drinnan's goalkeeper Julian Pariseau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merrill Dionne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Peoples in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Anatole Ballard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drinnan's Julian Pariseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shebandowan's Diodore Manley got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Drinnan getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sonny Dufour hit a great ball. Alfonso Adkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merrill Dionne having to interfere. Merrill Dionne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Peoples, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Drinnan's Russell Phillips got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Cody Lévesque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shebandowan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cody Lévesque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Cody Lévesque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shebandowan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drinnan the free kick. In the 30th minute, one of Shebandowan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Shebandowan. Merrill Dionne had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Kevin Lindsey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Diodore Manley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shebandowan's supporters rose to their feet, but Diodore Manley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pariseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Pariseau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diodore Manley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Drinnan's zone, Anatole Ballard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Pariseau came out of the goal and Anatole Ballard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diodore Manley to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Shebandowan got a freekick which was hit by Monte Roark. If Anatole Ballard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diodore Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Roark charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Monte Roark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cody Lévesque, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Julian Pariseau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anatole Ballard's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Anatole Ballard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shebandowan's supporters rose to their feet, but Anatole Ballard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Pariseau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
