Thanks to some nice moves Arnoldo Contreras could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Newton Oliver however easily saved by the left post. The referee ignored Whaletown FC's protests and gave Bertrand Tracy a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play Whaletown FC's Doyle Bonner was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 89th minute, Bert Vogt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd play minute Ulrich Segura came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arturo Adair. 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Moisie AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
