The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Ira Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buddy Peachey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnabé Noel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cloridorme getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Kelly Lewis hit a great ball. Colby Quinn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Buddy Peachey having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barnabé Noel in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Buddy Peachey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Ira Khan made a precise shot to the right of Buddy Peachey. Cloridorme's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tuan Ventura made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Charlie Croft sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ruel's Tuan Ventura got control of the ball when Charlie Croft tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Ruel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harrison Pepper to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Cloridorme's goal looked a bit too open when Barnabé Noel came free, but Buddy Peachey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnabé Noel scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Buddy Peachey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39th play minutes Ira Khan shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Buddy Peachey and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 45th minute Damien Béland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuan Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 51st minute, Damien Béland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Charlie Croft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Tuan Ventura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Cloridorme getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Morris Rancourt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ira Khan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Buddy Peachey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 59 minutes, Barnabé Noel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabé Noel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ira Khan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buddy Peachey having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Barnabé Noel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Buddy Peachey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ruel booed when Cloridorme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Gunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrew Huppé fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cloridorme's protests and gave Andrew Huppé a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cloridorme fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 69 minutes, Ruel's Colby Quinn got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Buddy Peachey. Cloridorme's Charlie Croft got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ira Khan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Buddy Peachey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ira Khan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Buddy Peachey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruel. Barnabé Noel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buddy Peachey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ira Khan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Barnabé Noel could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Buddy Peachey however easily saved by the left post. After 92 played minutes Ruel got a freekick which was hit by Colby Quinn. Marcelino Riggs kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
