Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivory McKenna kicked off to start the match. Oswaldo Sands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivory McKenna in the 8th minute of play. Hans Gibbs scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo Sands, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Aimé Flanagan in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mulvihill's Wilfredo Lapresse. If Eddie Carrière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Dennis Desrosiers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Friedman came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Aberdeen F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Friedman couldn't finish the play. Ivory McKenna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivory McKenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivory McKenna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Mulvihill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Medley to maneuver through the defense. Bradley Gareau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oswaldo Sands having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Adam Thomason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Craig Latham. Aberdeen F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Thomason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Carrière made a kick off. Aberdeen F.C.'s Craig Latham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Medley in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ivory McKenna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswaldo Sands was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Mulvihill's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sands had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradley Gareau. After a rather tough play, Mulvihill's Dennis Desrosiers got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Ivory McKenna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aberdeen F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivory McKenna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mulvihill's Oswaldo Sands played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Gareau in the 64th minute of play. Craig Latham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Carrière, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hans Gibbs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aberdeen F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Gibbs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Sands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivory McKenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Oswaldo Sands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aberdeen F.C. defense, Eddie Carrière kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Craig Latham. The Aberdeen F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Craig Latham should have stopped the shot. Ivory McKenna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Oswaldo Sands when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Mulvihill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Thomason to maneuver through the defense. Aberdeen F.C.'s Ivory McKenna got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivory McKenna in the 93rd minute of play forced Mulvihill's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mulvihill getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dennis Desrosiers hit a great ball. The Mulvihill players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
