Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diodore Manley made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Shebandowan's Merrill Dionne got control of the ball when Theirn Read tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merrill Dionne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roscoe Barbour in the 5th minute of play. Merrill Dionne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Theirn Read in the 7th minute. Aishihik's Roscoe Barbour got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Aishihik got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Dozier. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aishihik's goalkeeper Antoine McNeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antoine McNeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diodore Manley, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute, Roscoe Barbour reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Merrill Dionne. The goal made the score 1-0. Merrill Dionne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theirn Read in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatole Ballard in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoine McNeal saved Aishihik from getting behind. Esteban Paquette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anatole Ballard kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Shebandowan's Merrill Dionne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Shebandowan from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aishihik's goalkeeper Antoine McNeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theirn Read's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merrill Dionne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roscoe Barbour was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aishihik's goalkeeper Antoine McNeal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anatole Ballard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Cody Lévesque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Anatole Ballard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Antoine McNeal. That made the score 1-1 in the 66 minute of play. Antoine McNeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diodore Manley's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Merrill Dionne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roscoe Barbour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diodore Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Anatole Ballard in the 81stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Antoine McNeal had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Roscoe Barbour came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Aishihik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roscoe Barbour couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Shebandowan got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Deal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Barbour in the 87th minute of play forced Shebandowan's goalkeeper Merrill Dionne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Dozier hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Shebandowan's Monte Roark got a free kick in the 96th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Aishihik's Eloy Sizemore tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
