Oswaldo Sands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diodore Manley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Medley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Merrill Dionne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anatole Ballard scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oswaldo Sands, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 minutes of play, Shebandowan's Anatole Ballard made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Sands was left in no man's land by his defense there!

In the 52nd minute Anatole Ballard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Sands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Shebandowan's zone, Adam Thomason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merrill Dionne came out of the goal and Adam Thomason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diodore Manley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forrest Hayes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Forrest Hayes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Forrest Hayes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Mulvihill's Eddie Carrière got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Forrest Hayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cody Lévesque struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Oswaldo Sands didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shebandowan. After some careless play in the Shebandowan defense, Humberto Medley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merrill Dionne. The Shebandowan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merrill Dionne should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Mulvihill's goal looked a bit too open when Diodore Manley came free, but Oswaldo Sands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anatole Ballard in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Sands prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Shebandowan booed when Mulvihill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Paimboeuf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, Shebandowan's Cody Lévesque shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oswaldo Sands came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shebandowan reached it. A collision led to Mulvihill getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adam Thomason hit a great ball. The Mulvihill supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mulvihill would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
